This page is written in Easy Read English, with short sentences and simple words.

This page says whether the website is easy to use for everyone. The website follows some of the accessibility rules, but not all of them yet. Here we explain what works, what does not work yet, and how to tell us.

What this statement says

  • This page is the accessibility statement of the website. We wrote it on 2 September 2026.
  • Digital accessibility means making sure that a website can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities.
  • We follow the RGAA (General Accessibility Improvement Framework). The RGAA is the list of the French accessibility rules for websites.
  • This website is partially compliant. This means: some of these rules are followed, and some are not followed yet.
  • The website was rebuilt in 2026. A new check is planned before the end of 2026. This check is called an audit: a person checks the website rule by rule. The result will be published on this page.

How to use the website

  • Here is what an accessible website must allow. We are working so that this website allows it too.
  • You can make the text bigger, change the colours or stop the animations. These settings are in your computer or in your internet browser.
  • You can use the website with a screen reader. A screen reader is software that reads the website out loud. We tested the website with the NVDA screen reader.
  • You can browse without a mouse: with the keyboard alone, with a touchscreen, or with a switch. A switch is a big button that replaces the mouse.
  • You are reading the Easy Read version right now. Easy Read means easy to read and to understand. The button at the bottom right of the screen turns it on or off.

What does not work yet

  • Some parts of the website do not follow the rules yet. These are called non-compliances.
  • Some videos have no subtitles. They have no text of what is said either.
  • Some decorative images have no written description. So a screen reader cannot announce them clearly.
  • The contact form is being improved. It is not easy to fill in with the keyboard alone yet.
  • We write this list here because the rule asks us to say clearly what does not work yet.

Telling us about a problem

  • Write to us when content on the website is impossible for you to read or to use. Our email address is contact@ouicycle.fr.
  • You can also write us a letter, at 4 Avenue Laurent Cely, 92600 Asnières-sur-Seine, France.
  • We then look for a solution with you: the content in another form, or another way to get the service.
  • Our answer does not suit you? You can make an appeal. An appeal is a step you take to have your rights respected.
  • In that case, write to the Défenseur des droits (the French Ombudsman). It is a free public service that defends people whose rights are not respected. Accessibility

This page aims to present the accessibility policy of the lesrouessolidaires.fr website and to define the general level of accessibility observed on this website in accordance with applicable standards and regulations in force.

What is digital accessibility?

Digital accessibility is a set of rules and best practices covering functional, graphical, technical and editorial aspects. Following these rules and best practices helps ensure that digital media (websites, mobile applications, PDF documents, etc.) are accessible to people with disabilities.

An accessible website makes it possible, for example, to:

  • customise its display via the operating system and/or browser (enlarging or shrinking text, changing typography, modifying colours, stopping animations, etc.);
  • navigate using assistive technologies such as a screen reader or braille display;
  • navigate without using a mouse, using only the keyboard, switches, or a touchscreen;
  • watch videos and listen to audio content using subtitles and/or transcripts;
  • etc.

Accessibility policy

The Les Roues Solidaires association pays particular attention to the accessibility of its website. It is committed to complying with the RGAA (General Accessibility Improvement Framework), in accordance with Article 47 of Law No. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005.

In order to achieve the best possible result, accessibility is taken into account by all the people involved in the design and development of this website.

Compliance status

The Les Roues Solidaires website is partially compliant with the general framework for improving accessibility for public administrations. A counter-audit will be carried out by end of 2026.

Test results

The RGAA 4.1 compliance rate is currently being re-evaluated following the 2026 redesign of the site. It will be republished here once a new audit has been carried out.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

  • Some videos do not yet have subtitles or text transcripts.
  • Some decorative graphic elements may lack explicit text alternatives.
  • The contact form is being improved to optimise keyboard navigation.
